Frequently asked questions

Is this wedding budget tracker free?

Yes — it's completely free with no login. Your tracker saves automatically in your browser and stays on your device.

What's the difference between this and the budget calculator?

The budget calculator suggests how to split a total budget across categories in one shot. The tracker is for ongoing use: you set planned amounts, then log what you actually spend so you can watch remaining money and catch overspending as you book vendors.

How do planned, actual, and remaining work?

Planned is what you've budgeted for a category; actual is what you've spent or committed so far; remaining is planned minus actual. The summary at the top rolls these up into total spent, money remaining against your budget, and how much of your budget is still unallocated.

Will I lose my data?

Your tracker is saved in this browser's local storage, so it persists between visits on the same device. Clearing your browser data or switching devices will start a fresh tracker.
